Did you know there are more records to find in the U.S. Social Security records? There is more than just the Social Security Death Index (aka SSDI), there is also a different index called the Social Security Applications and Claims Index. Both of these indexes have a little bit of different information. Additionally, where there is an index, there are original records such as the original application known as the SS-5, payroll records and more to find.Â
