Learn how you can see if your ancestors are in more than one branch of the family tree using the WikiTree fan chart.  This is the only tree I’ve seen online that will show you where your ancestors repeat in more than one branch of the direct lineage. 

This is not duplicate ancestors, but ancestors that are in more than one line of your family tree. The great part is WikiTree is free to use. All you need to do is upload your tree.
