In this video learn how to extract ancestors from city directories using Ancestry into Excel. Here we demonstrate this family history strategy using Ancestry, but can be done from any online genealogy website that has city directories, such as MyHeritage too. This can also be done using Google Sheets instead of Excel with a similar procedure.
